Visual Builders – Winner of 2010 HIA Victorian Small Commercial Project for Penleigh Essendon Grammar Sports Pavillion
This was the first year we entered the HIA Awards, entering one commercial project and one residential project. We were extremely happy to be announced as a finalist in the Small Commercial Project category for PEGS and looked forward to the night. Much to our delight and surprise, we came away winners and will continue to produce work of this calibre every day. This new sports pavilion was designed to provide 270 degree optimal viewing of the sports fields as well as environmentally creating a west facing thermal massing to prevent the afternoon sun from penetrating the building.
