Lizzie’s Lane at the Pullman, Albert Park, was little more than a loading dock before Visual Builders were engaged to create a public pop-up bar and event venue, suitable to attract corporate clientele. Given only 2 weeks to transform the area, Visual worked tirelessly to complete the project ahead of schedule in only 5 days.

Paying homage to the Queens Rd precinct, Lizzie’s Lane features a huge graffiti mural of Queen Elizabeth II; a fitting welcome into Melbourne’s famous laneway culture. Moving into the bar, previously home to an underground carpark, there are ample features of raw wood, eye popping art and dark bespoke mood lighting. The space is practical and functional with a unique design that is fun, grungy and above all, memorable.
