Yet again Visual Builders has teamed up with the owners of Open Arms Hospitality as well as Burton & Carter Architects to work on Riverland, a new precinct perched at the rear of Emirates House on Eagle Street, Brisbane. Open Arms Hospitality have a string of existing venues, bars and hotels across Victoria and New South Wales, many of which Visual Builders have built.

Encompassing a unique industrial design by Burton & Carter the main features include a timber arbour entry,  converted shipping containers for food vendors and an island bar with intertwining greenery and bronze detailing. The heart of Riverland comprises the two 40ft shipping containers that contain the main bar which complements the exposed beam, open air beer garden. You will see some amazing art work by Professional Graffiti Artist Sheeps featuring some unique caricatures of people involved with this project. It pays homage to the 6 o’clock swill and the working history of the Brisbane River and foreshore. Click here and you can see the whole amazing project being built in the time lapse videos on our Facebook page.
